We are excited to announce that NINGBO EXFATTER APPAREL CO., LTD. became Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified in 2024! After undergoing a rigorous assessment process, we are now able to offer our clients GOTS certified materials in developing their products and include the GOTS logo on their product labeling and packaging.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) has a clearly defined set of criteria and is transparent. GOTS is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain.
To become GOTS certified requires an independent, third-party assessment against the standard. The certification is undertaken by an independent GOTS-approved certification body and, once certified, any GOTS certified facilities are inspected regularly.
Overall, the benefit of having one common, global standard means textile processors and manufacturers can export their fabrics and garments with one organic certification that is accepted across all major markets.
